There's no place like home for Altoona, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Prescott Cardinals by a score of 9-6 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Railroaders: when they faced off against the Cardinals on Tuesday, they had to take a 11-6 loss.

Altoona has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Prescott, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Coming up, Altoona will venture away from home to square off against Shell Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Railroaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prescott, they will take on Fall Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
