Basketball Game Preview: Tuscarawas Valley Trojans vs. Ridgewood Generals

The Tuscarawas Valley Trojans will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Ridgewood Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Tuscarawas Valley and Strasburg-Franklin meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Trojans came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 42-35.

Meanwhile, Ridgewood took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They took down East Knox 64-49. The victory continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Tuscarawas Valley couldn't quite finish off Ridgewood in their previous meeting back in January and fell 57-54. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
