Soccer Game Preview: Highlands Christian vs. Sagemont Prep

The Highlands Christian Knights will face off against the Sagemont Prep Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Highlands Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-3 margin over Avant Garde Academy. Considering Highlands Christian have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Sagemont Prep's game last Thursday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parkridge Christian. Even if Sagemont Prep couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Sagemont Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Highlands Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-4 record.
