Volleyball Recap: Ephrata Mennonite Takes a Loss

Ephrata Mennonite had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Tri-Valley Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Legends of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Tri-Valley was led to victory by Kirra Klinger and Callie Melocheck. Klinger had 23 digs and four assists, while Melocheck hit 66.7% for five kills and 15 digs, eight aces, and one block. Melocheck is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

The win (which was Tri-Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 27-3.

As of now, neither Ephrata Mennonite nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
