Todd County and Dell Rapids squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Todd County had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Quarriers. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Dell Rapids was led to victory by Alaina Wolff and Tenley Anderson. Wolff had seven digs and two aces, while Anderson had 37 assists and seven digs. Anderson has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Todd County's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Dell Rapids, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

Todd County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dell Rapids, after both having extra time off, they and Rapid City Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
