Baseball Recap: Arapahoe Takes a Loss

Arapahoe came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Heritage Eagles, falling 15-5. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Carter Landen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Matt Dollaghan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Arapahoe's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Heritage, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Coming up, Arapahoe is taking a road trip to take on Douglas County at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage, they will welcome Grandview at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
