Soccer Recap: Mcfarland Beats Edgewood for Their Fourth Straight Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McFarland walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Edgewood Crusaders 2-1 on Saturday. That's two games straight that McFarland have won by just one goal.

Griffin Martin was the driving force of McFarland's attack as he scored both of McFarland's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

The victory (which was McFarland's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7. As for Edgewood, they moved to 14-3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
