Football Recap: East Bridgewater Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Bridgewater can now relate to. They took a blow against the Fairhaven Blue Devils on Friday, falling 44-8. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-0.

Jared Hardiman threw for 87 yards and one TD. On the ground, Nate Long rushed for 37 yards.

Fairhaven found their leader in sophomore Kingston St.Pierre, who rushed for 77 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries.

East Bridgewater has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Fairhaven, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

East Bridgewater will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Bridgewater at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Fairhaven, they will challenge Stoneham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
