Jared Nelson and Austin White provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Quilcene. The longest such play in 1B Northwest - South (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 75 yards.

Rainier Christian lost to the Rangers 58-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nelson threw for 137 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 220 yards in the defeat.

Rainier Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nelson has thrown for 560 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Danny DeLorenzo has 11 catches for 243 yards. Nelson also leads the league in rushing with 892 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Quilcene takes on Muckleshoot Tribal. Nic Dahl's team is in first place, while the Kings are in third place.
