Wilton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Torrington Raiders 48-6 on Wednesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21 points or more this season.
Wilton had a senior duo take command as Charlie Calabrese rushed for 82 yards and Alan Osta rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown. Osta showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Wilton, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Marco Chila, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Wilton's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 5.5 times. Krystian Babinski refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
