P.K. Yonge proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Chiefland Indians. This was a revenge game for the Blue Wave: when they faced off against the Indians back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

P.K. Yonge got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 23-25, 31-29, 23-25, 25-18, 15-12.

P.K. Yonge's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Chiefland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

P.K. Yonge and Chiefland are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Blue Wave will square off against Destin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chiefland, they will challenge Hawthorne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
