Volleyball Recap: Fitzgerald Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fitzgerald came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the South Lake Cavaliers, falling 3-0. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fitzgerald's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for South Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fitzgerald will host Southfield Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Lake, after both having extra time off, they and Lincoln will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
