Yuma Catholic extended their winning streak to 13 games thanks to a huge performance from Fernando Vazquez Lima. The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks breezed by the Kingman Bulldogs to the tune of 80-29 on Monday thanks in part to Vazquez Lima, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 19 points along with seven assists and four steals. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Austin Obika was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Yuma Catholic's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 32.5% in those games and 33.6% outside of them. As for Kingman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yuma Catholic will square off against Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingman, they will host Chino Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
