Basketball Recap: Largo Packers vs. Cypress Creek Coyotes

Defeat or not, Largo got some senior leadership from Zaire Smith and Chase Clark. Smith posted nine points and eight boards, while Clark put up ten points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for Clark. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Jeanphilippe, who earned four points and eight boards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cypress Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shane Callahan, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points and six assists. Devin Suggs was another key player, shooting 55% from the field on his way to 17 points.
Largo's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cypress Creek, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Coming up, Largo will square off against Tampa Bay Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Packers will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
