Volleyball Recap: East Troy Find Success

East Troy won the last time they faced St. Mary's Springs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Ledgers by a score of 2-0.

East Troy had a senior duo take command as Carli Murphy had ten digs and two assists and Madi Wojciuch had eight digs and two aces.

East Troy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Mary's Springs only served three.

When it comes to explaining why St. Mary's Springs lost, don't look at Sophie Schneider. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and four assists.

East Troy's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for St. Mary's Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

When East Troy and St. Mary's Springs next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Trojans will try to stop Delavan-Darien's three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's Springs will take on Lomira and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
