Liberty played against Beacon on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Liberty moved to 4-15 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak. As for Beacon, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Liberty will welcome SS Seward at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. SS Seward has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.83 runs per game on average), something Liberty will no doubt try to take advantage of. Beacon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
