Football Game Preview: Portsmouth Abbey Ravens vs. St. George's Dragons

The Portsmouth Abbey Ravens will head out on the road to challenge the St. George's Dragons at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Portsmouth Abbey will be strutting in after a win while St. George's will be coming in after a loss.

Portsmouth Abbey will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Proctor Academy, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Ravens took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 41-13 victory over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ravens.

Meanwhile, St. George's lost to Lawrence Academy on the road by a 31-13 margin on Saturday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Portsmouth Abbey has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for St. George's, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Portsmouth Abbey's way against St. George's in their previous meeting back in September of 2018, as Portsmouth Abbey made off with a 22-0 win. Do the Ravens have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
