Basketball Recap: Huguenot Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Horatio Kinlock and Trevion Brown

Huguenot lost against Cosby back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huguenot Falcons took a 62-43 bruising from the Cosby Titans. The Falcons were down 51-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Trevion Brown and Horatio Kinlock certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Brown went 7-for-11 en route to 17 points and five boards, while Kinlock posted 12 points. Brown has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.

Huguenot's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cosby, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Huguenot has already played their next matchup, a 76-30 win against Richmond City School of the Arts on the 15th. As for Cosby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-54 victory against James River Midlothian on the 17th.
