Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Meridian

There's no place like home for Meridian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since October 22, 2024.

Meridian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-16.

Jetta Stewart paced Meridian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Stewart got some help from Olivia Schafer and her 21 assists. Ximena Nunez controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
