Flag Football Recap: Centennial's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

If Centennial was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Mount Vernon two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights lost 30-6 to the Dunwoody Wildcats on Thursday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

The defeat snapped Centennial's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for Dunwoody, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Dunwoody will both be playing Varsity Opponent the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
