Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Isaiah White and Terrance Badio Lead Butler to Victory + How To Watch

Butler won the last time they faced Sun Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs took down the Spartans 66-47. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 53-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Butler to victory were Terrance Badio and Isaiah White. Badio went 5-for-8 on his way to 17 points, while White posted 11 points and five steals. White is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Aree Branch was another key player, putting up five points.

Butler was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sun Valley only racked up one.

Victor Chafen and Noah McKinney certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chafen shot 55% from the field to rack up 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while McKinney put up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylin Powell, who earned eight points.

Butler has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 70.5 points this season. As for Sun Valley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Butler has already played their next matchup, a 54-44 win against Charlotte Country Day School on the 29th. As for Sun Valley, they will challenge East Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
