Softball Recap: Northfield Takes a Loss

Northfield made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Oak Hill, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Norsemen fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Norsemen have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Ali Copeland was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Carlee Delgado, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Northfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Oak Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Looking ahead, Northfield will challenge Southwood at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Oak Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
