Volleyball Recap: Cathedral Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cathedral Prep can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Avonworth Antelopes on Tuesday. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Cathedral Prep still got an impressive performance from Kamryn Resurreccion, who had six digs and six aces. Resurreccion has been hot, having also posted 18 or more assists the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Moore, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Cathedral Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12-1. As for Avonworth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Cathedral Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avonworth, they will challenge Everett at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
