Volleyball Recap: Huntington Takes a Loss

Huntington and Woodrow Wilson squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Huntington had to settle for second. They came up short against the Flying Eagles, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Flying Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-14.

Huntington's loss dropped their record down to 14-22-2. As for Woodrow Wilson, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-14-7 record this season.

Huntington will be playing at home against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will host Parkersburg South at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
