Hanks is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Burges with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-21. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Austin Deucher and Nezahul Cisneros. Deucher had a great game and gained 238 total yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Cisneros was balling out in the loss, rushing for 179 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Del Valle might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Chapin who claimed the real prize. The Conquistadores and the Huskies were almost perfectly matched up, but the Conquistadores suffered a 23-22 loss. The loss was the Conquistadores' first of the season.
Hanks will have to contain Jake Fette as he made an impact in Del Valle's last game. He rushed for 221 yards and two TDs while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 151 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Dante Eytcheson, who gained 114 total yards and a touchdown.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Hanks has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 205 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Del Valle struggles in that department as they've been averaging 201.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Hanks took a serious blow against Del Valle when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 71-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fette, who threw for 335 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes.
