Recap: Granite Hills Eagles vs. Helix Highlanders
It was a good run, but the Granite Hills Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 69-58 to Helix. Granite Hills has struggled against Helix recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Granite Hills still got an impressive performance from Andre Dankha, who scored 26 points. Dankha is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. Zac Benitez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Granite Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Helix, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granite Hills will take on Steele Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Steele Canyon's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches. As for Helix, they will play host again and welcome West Hills, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Hills is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
