Soccer Game Preview: Jacksonville vs. Lincoln

The Jacksonville Crimsons will head out on the road to face off against the Lincoln Railsplitters at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jacksonville, who comes in off a win.

Jacksonville will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Jersey on Monday. The Crimsons put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Jacksonville, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Jersey with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madalyn DeFrates (3), Brooke White, and Adyson Haefeli.

Meanwhile, Lincoln has been on a difficult stretch since their win on April 21. They came up short against Meridian/Sangamon Valley/Central A&M on Wednesday, falling 9-0.

Jacksonville's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18-2.

Jacksonville beat Lincoln 2-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crimsons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
