Volleyball Recap: Three Lakes Bluejays vs. Wild Rose Wildcats
It's playoff time, and Three Lakes had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Wild Rose Wildcats on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
While Three Lakes might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wild Rose scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-21.
Malia Szews paced Three Lakes' offense, picking up 13 kills. Szews got some help from Kailyn Fogerty and her 28 assists. Keira Bollmann and Kaylynn Klein kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
Three Lakes' win bumped their record up to 31-10. As for Wild Rose, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Three Lakes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Shiocton on the 25th. Wild Rose does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
