Football Game Preview: Reeths-Puffer Rockets vs. Byron Center Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Reeths-Puffer Rockets will head out to square off against the Byron Center Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reeths-Puffer has given up an average of 32.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Reeths-Puffer came up short against Forest Hills Northern and fell 40-27. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Huskies are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Byron Center). They blew past Union, posting a 49-6 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory got Byron Center back to even at 3-3. As for Reeths-Puffer, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Reeths-Puffer lost to Byron Center on the road by a decisive 42-28 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
