Football Recap: North Harrison Falls Short of Scottsburg in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Harrison can now relate to. They were dealt a 27-0 defeat at the hands of the Scottsburg Warriors on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Scottsburg had a senior duo take command as Landon Shuck rushed for 200 yards and one TD while picking up 8.7 yards per carry and Nathan Byrd threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns.

North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Scottsburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

North Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scottsburg, they will challenge Indian Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Byrd and Evan Clark.
