If Raymond/South Bend wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Elma, they should've done a better job of containing Isaac McGaffey. The Eagles put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 53-32 win on Friday with plenty of help from McGaffey, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Despite the loss, Raymond/South Bend had strong showings from Toby Lorton, who posted seven points, and Carson Ridderbush, who had 11 points.

Elma has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 59.5 points this season. As for Raymond/South Bend, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Elma will head out on the road to face off against Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Raymond/South Bend, they will be playing at home against Willapa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
