Volleyball Recap: Emma Weaver Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Upper Sandusky

Mohawk won the last time they faced Upper Sandusky and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors blew past the Rams 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mohawk was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-5, 25-14.

Mohawk's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Weaver, who had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave Weaver a new career-high. Mallory Brickner was another key player, getting five digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Mohawk was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Mohawk's record is now 9-3. As for Upper Sandusky, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
