Volleyball Recap: Hopewell Takes a Loss

Hopewell and Southwest Guilford squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hopewell had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cowboys, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2016.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-10, 25-15.

Hopewell's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Southwest Guilford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Hopewell nor Southwest Guilford have any future games scheduled.
