Osbourn wins going away against Manassas Park

The Osbourn Eagles won the last time they faced the Manassas Park Cougars, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Osbourn put the hurt on Manassas Park with a sharp 49-28 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Osbourn.

Osbourn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Irieanna Smoot led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Smoot has scored at least 25% of Osbourn's points. Rhyannon Stanley was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 11 rebounds.

Osbourn's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Manassas Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osbourn will stay at home for another game and welcome Unity Reed at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Manassas Park will take on Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
