Hilton Head Island is a perfect 3-0 against Bridges Prep since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Seahawks will host the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. Bridges Prep took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hilton Head Island, who comes in off a win.

Hilton Head Island barely beat May River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Seahawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sharks last Tuesday. The contest marked the Seahawks' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Bridges Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of May River.

Bridges Prep started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-27, 25-16, 25-20, 22-20.

Bridges Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hilton Head Island, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Hilton Head Island came out on top in a nail-biter against Bridges Prep in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Buccaneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
