When it comes to explaining why Norview lost, one person who can't be blamed is Leyla Minor. Despite the final result, she scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 9 blocks. Minor has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Taylor Christful was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Oxon Hill was led to victory by Madison Williams and Damia Worthy. Williams scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals, while Worthy scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of Oxon Hill's points.
Norview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oxon Hill, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
