It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Scotland ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They walked away with a 70-63 win over the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes. The Fighting Scots haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Scotland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kam Prince out in front who shot 67% from the field on his way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Another player making a difference was Zaymon Gibson, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 20 points and six boards.

Xavion Pittman and Jeremiah Morris certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Pittman shot 63% from the field en route to 15 points and three steals, while Morris went 7-for-11 on his way to 17 points. Thanks to that strong game, Pittman now owns an excellent 48.3% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob McCollum, who posted seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

Scotland's record now sits at 2-0. As for Fairmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Scotland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-66 victory against Montgomery Central on the 5th. As for Fairmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-41 win against St. Pauls on the 5th.
