Softball Recap: Bangor Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Oxford Hills

Bangor faced Oxford Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Rams fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-4. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 19-2 to the Vikings when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kaylee Folsom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

Bangor's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Oxford Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
