South Knox waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pike Central Chargers a 3-0 shutout. South Knox have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Pike Central, too.

South Knox hit Pike Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Levi Loudermilk, Malaki Downen, and Joseph Ellerman.

South Knox now has a winning record of 3-2-2. As for Pike Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, South Knox will welcome Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike Central, they will square off against North Posey at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Posey's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
