Soccer Game Preview: Parkview vs. Duluth

For the first time this season, Parkview will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Parkview duke it out with Duluth at 5:30 p.m. They have given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Parkview came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against North Gwinnett, falling 8-1.

Meanwhile, Duluth fell victim to Brookwood and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Broncos. The Wildcats have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Duluth's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Parkview was able to grind out a solid victory over Duluth when the teams last played back in April of 2016, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Parkview since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
