Baseball Recap: Sturgeon Bay Clippers vs. Peshtigo Bulldogs

While Sturgeon Bay put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Peshtigo. The Clippers blew past the Bulldogs 10-0. Considering the Clippers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Bryce Plzak made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Sturgeon Bay is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Plzak was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.
