Football Game Preview: Old Mill Patriots vs. Severn Run Wolves + Official Tickets

The Old Mill Patriots will challenge the Severn Run Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Old Mill's defense has only allowed 6.8 points per game this season, so Severn Run's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Old Mill's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They snuck past Glen Burnie with a 4-0 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Gophers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Old Mill's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Robert Manning refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself. Breyent Loving-Adkins was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 12 total tackles.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Severn Run, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past North County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-10. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Severn Run's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Old Mill, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
