Taylor Hale put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Shiprock: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 5-14 otherwise.
