Volleyball Recap: Dongola Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dongola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Egyptian Pharaohs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pharaohs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Monday.

Dongola started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-12.

Dongola's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Egyptian, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Looking ahead, Dongola will head out on the road to take on Pope County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Egyptian, they will take on Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
