Volleyball Recap: Ari Ryan Key Part of Team Effort in Panthers Win + How To Watch

Nease won the last time they faced Orange Park and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers blew past the Raiders 3-0. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

Nease walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Nease got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ari Ryan out in front who had five digs and two aces. What's more, Ryan racked up 24 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Isabella Hayes was another key player, getting 14 digs and three aces.

Despite the loss, Orange Park still got an impressive performance from Hailey Ingham, who had 23 digs and three assists. Ingham is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Arianna Calderon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Nease and bumps their season record up to 7-13. As for Orange Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

Nease didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Bolles on the 9th. As for Orange Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against St. Johns Country Day on the 9th.
