Soccer Game Preview: Auburn vs. Graham

The Auburn Eagles will head out to square off against the Graham G-Men at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Auburn is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Glenvar on Wednesday. They came up short against the Highlanders, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for Auburn in their meetings with Glenvar: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Graham made sure to put some goals up on the board against George Wythe on Thursday. They never let the Maroons get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Graham's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Graham's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Auburn, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Auburn was able to grind out a solid victory over Graham when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
