Horace Mann UCLA Community's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Derrick Boston, who scored 17 points. Boston is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nasir May, who scored 16 points.
CHAMPS has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Horace Mann UCLA Community, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
