Softball Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Keene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spaulding Red Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackbirds of the 14-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Keene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Spaulding, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-12.

As of now, neither Keene nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
