Baseball Recap: Ignacio Has No Trouble Against Dove Creek

Ignacio's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Dove Creek Bulldogs 10-4. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cole W was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. William M was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

W wasn't the only one making solid contact: Ignacio kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

The win got Ignacio back to even at 2-2. As for Dove Creek, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ignacio has already played their next game, a 19-1 victory against Dolores on the 5th. As for Dove Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Monticello on the 4th.
