Baseball Recap: Eagle's View Gets the Win

Eagle's View's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Parsons Christian Academy Lions. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won nine in a row.

Frank Hanna was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Hanna was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, River Ahrens was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Logan Houston was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Eagle's View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2025.

The victory got Eagle's View back to even at 1-1. As for Parsons Christian Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Eagle's View will head out to take on Ridgeview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parsons Christian Academy, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cedar Creek Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
